RnD Tax Refunds, Social Media
The Client Need
As Pamela had recently began her business and wasn’t too familiar with social media, we helped to enhance her current accounts and created a Twitter profile for her. Pamela started from scratch on Twitter with no followers or mentions and had little activity on LinkedIn. It was important for both RnD Tax Refunds and Pamela to gain wider recognition in order to raise awareness of her business. As a member of the Warrington Business Exchange and after having formed partnerships with local businesses, it was also beneficial for Pamela to generate social media content to share local news, her triumphs and projects for RnD and events she was attending to showcase her efforts for the community and research & development sector to clients and prospects.
Our Solution
We utilised our experience in social media to put together a strategic marketing plan involving structured social media posts to go out on specific days of the week to engage with certain targeted groups most relevant to Pamela and RnD. To do this effectively we also included Twitter hashtags of appropriate promotional hours such as “Manufacturing Hour”, “North West Hour” and “Warrington Hour” to help send out content to their target audience based on research & development and location, which would raise the profile of RnD in local communities. For posts including images or information regarding other business individuals we made sure to mention them with the “@” symbol or a hashtag to tag them in posts and spread the reach. We plan all social media posts so that they are released timely and when most relevant. The team monitor the content that is posted across all platforms to continue the engagements and interactions with their target audience where appropriate – MiniMe don’t abandon social media content once it is posted!
The Success Story
Due to the raised profile of RnD Tax Refunds over just a few months, Pamela had grown her connections into the hundreds and continues to network in person and online with monthly social media content. This has attracted new business partners and even new members to the RnD team! Most recently her online content has sparked the attention of local rugby club Warrington Wolves and former player Shaun Briscoe as Pamela actively engages with and shows her support for the Warrington Wolves Foundation through sponsoring an award category at their Man of Steel dinner.
